null
The skin’s dead cells will begin to flake and peeling might begin around the edges of the brows.

Color will finish flaking off and appear much lighter and softer. Allow for the color to fully develop.

    • Not taking proper care of procedure area after treatment.
    • Sunbathing or using sun beds.
    • Using Retin A creams, or any other products that contain AHA’s, Glycolic or Vitamin A.
    • Certain skin treatments such as laser treatments, microdermabrasion or chemical peels.
    • Certain skin conditions and or excessively dry/oily skin types.
    • Specific medications which are known to cause increased fading.
    • Excessive use of alcohol.
    • Swimming in chlorinated pools.

About The Procedure

You don’t need much to make your eyes pop. This subtle technique gives your top lashes a backdrop and makes them look fuller, while outlining and framing your eye. It yields a very natural look that always compliments and completes any eye makeup, or even more so when you have no makeup at all. This eyeliner sits directly on the top lash line and blends into your lashes. Eyelash enhancement does not damage your lashes. If you are using latisse or any other lash growth treatments you must pause product use two weeks before your intended procedure, and 30 days after your procedure. If you are wearing eyelash extensions they must be removed two days prior to your intended procedure. Topical anaesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately two hours and there is no “downtime”. A touch up is required 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. After that touch-ups are determined on an individual basis.

Before Care

DO NOT work out the day of the procedure.
DO NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Fish Oil or Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.
NO waxing or tinting 3 days before the procedure.
DO NOT resume any method of hair removal for at least 2 weeks.
DO NOT tan or have a sunburned face.
DO NOT have alcohol or caffeine 2 days before the procedure.
NO tweezing / waxing at least 48 hours before procedure; electrolysis no less than five days before.
Eyebrow tinting should be done or removed no sooner than 48 hours before, or 2 weeks after the procedure.

After Care & Healing

Your post procedure care consists of cleaning your eyes with our after care pads for the first 4 hours every hour after your procedure and then implementing 10 days dry healing. This means that your eyes cannot get wet at all. We will provide you with protective visors for showering. It would be best to wash and cleanse your face with a washcloth or wipes for these ten days to avoid any splashing on your eyes.

In addition, not profuse sweating (hot yoga and the sauna will have to be on pause for 10 days), no creams, no makeup directly on the eyes, no mascara, and no direct sun exposure ( if you know you will need to be in the sun for an extended periods of time you must wear a wide brimmed hat).

You will need to wait 30 days to restart your lash growth treatments if you are using them and two weeks before being able to apply lash extensions. You must let the scabbing process happen naturally. This is very important for your retention and skin healing.

Do NOT pick at the scabs, scratch your brows, peel your scabs off, or scrub the area. This can result in scarring and will affect your overall retention of the pigment. After 10 days you may resume your normal life and beauty routines.

Additional Information

Please be aware that the result of the procedure is depending on the following medication and health conditions, skin conditions – i.e. oily and poor skin, very dry / flaky skin, sun damaged skin, loose or laxed skin, general stress, immune system, poor diet and not following the aftercare instructions, may affect your healed results.

Antacids, thyroid and anxiety medications have been reported as interfering with permanent makeup either by affecting retention or shifting the pigment to an undesirable tone. Remember everything we eat and drink have their own chemical structure and the electron ends that are unattached or free, may get attached to other compounds inside the body forming a new molecule that may show a different colour spectrum. With that info, an educated client may have better expectations and know that she/he may need more frequent adjustments than others. The better condition your skin is in, the better the final result will be. Mature clients may need an additional one to two weeks healing for the final results to appear.
